Background
I've spent over three decades at the intersection of filmmaking and visual effects — on set, in the pipeline, and deep in the node graph. Early in my career I co-founded one of Hollywood's first VFX boutiques built on off-the-shelf hardware and software, and contributed pioneering compositing work on films including The Crow.
Since then I've supervised and composited on feature films, high-end television, and international commercials across New York, Europe, South America, and the Middle East.
My work spans both sides of the camera: as an On-Set VFX Supervisor I manage plate acquisition, coordinate with the DoP, and build the bridge between production and post. As a Senior Compositor I specialize in complex Nuke work — CG integration, environment builds, beauty, cleanup, and stereo. I'm a Board Member of the Visual Effects Society (VES) New York, dual US/Spanish citizen, and fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
I join productions in pre-production and stay through delivery. On set I handle camera and lens strategy, HDRI and photogrammetry capture, practical FX coordination, and plate acquisition — making sure post has everything it needs before the crew wraps.
High-end Nuke compositing for feature film, episodic television, and commercials. I specialize in CG integration, complex environment work, beauty and cleanup, matchmove and projection, stereo, and node-based pipeline work.
